ADPC Announces its First Regional Training Course on Incident Command System for Disaster Management

Greetings from the Asian Disaster Preparedness Center (ADPC), Bangkok, Thailand.

 

It is with pleasure we invite you to the one week Regional Training Course on “Incident Command System for Disaster Management” from 10-16 August 2009 in Phuket , Thailand .

 

A new initiative from ADPC and designed to enable practitioners to operate efficiently during an incident or event within the Incident Command System (ICS). This course focuses on the management of single resources. The course will offer an in-depth knowledge on Incident Command System, describe the ICS organization appropriate to the complexity of the incident or event and use ICS to manage an incident or event efficiently.

The course will be delivered by the Emergency Management Experts from US Forest Service and ADPC who have extensive experience working in the field of Emergency Response and an extensive alumni league comprising of international experienced practitioners and experts from different organizations and government institutions across the world.
