International Urban Training Center (IUTC) with support by UN-HABITAT is providing residential courses on urban sustainability-related issues in a modular manner and has concentrated since its inception in 2007 on developing cutting-edge training programs and materials that support sustainable development in the Asia and Pacific. 

As the number of IUTC's training courses are increasing, this year IUTC decided to introduce internship programme for 2009 IUTC-UN-HABITAT training programme. Any students who are enrolled in a graduate school(preferable) and coming from the Asian and Pacific nations(also preferable), with specialization in areas that directly relate to IUTC and UN-HABITAT work toward sustainable urbanization are very much welcome. The interns will be stationed at IUTC for 2 months and will be provided with accommodation, meals, international air-tickets and small allowance for internal transportation. Upon the completion of internship, the interns will be given a certificate signed by IUTC and UN-HABITAT.
