The International Urban Training Center (IUTC),our institution partner is organising their forthcoming training course on Urban Ecological Restoration to be held from 31^st August to 5^th September 2009 in Korea.  

The objective of the training course is to develop capacity of integrated restoration planning and implementation in urban environments with understanding on ecological restoration function and value as strategic solution to sustainable urbanization and climate change.

The training course is designed to city and government managers, academic experts, consultants, NGOs, research institutes and contractors.

The programme to be delivered to the training course is as follows:
      Module 1: Low Carbon, green growth strategy: sustainability, ecology, equity and economy
      Module 2: Ecological restoration planning and practice
      Module 3: Ecological water function restoration
      Module 4: Ecological restoration techniques
